Metro Pavement Markings Ltd. has been acquired by Upper Canada Road Services Inc.
Coldwater acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Upper Canada Road Services Inc. (“UCRS” or the “Company”) in connection with its acquisition of Metro Pavement Markings Ltd. (“Metro” or the “Target”).
Founded in 2003 and based in Markham, Ontario, UCRS is a specialized road maintenance company offering pavement marking, runway rubber removal, and crack sealing services across Ontario. UCRS engaged Coldwater to lead its acquisition efforts, reflecting the Company’s confidence in Coldwater to identify and execute strategic growth opportunities. Metro is a pavement marking contractor based in Acton, Ontario, operating since 1976, providing services for commercial and residential clients.
Coldwater supported UCRS through a complex transaction structure, addressing real estate embedded within the operating company while also leading the valuation, offer submission, and deal structuring process. The acquisition of Metro represents a highly complementary and strategic expansion for UCRS, significantly broadening its geographic reach, market share, and operational capabilities.
